Marble and Bluestone Restoration Services for Kew Mansion
Stone and Tile Experts recently had the privilege of restoring the stone surfaces of a Kew mansion in preparation for it being put onto the market for sale.
It was an extensive project with many stone surfaces including marble and bluestone needing attention. The range of services we provided included polishing and resurfacing, honing, cleaning and sealing mostly natural stone surfaces. We also regrouted some tile and stone surfaces where required.
Marble has been used extensively throughout the property. As a result, a major part of the project was getting it back to looking its best. This included the reception area, kitchen (including kitchen benchtops), bathrooms, living areas as well as a large outdoor courtyard surrounding a decorative fountain.
Bluestone has also been used to great effect around an indoor swimming pool and alfresco kitchen. When restoring the bluestone, particularly around the swimming pool, it was important to make sure the surface was not slippery for safety reasons.

We recently completed a project for a home in the leafy inner Eastern suburb of Kew. We were tasked with restoring the stone surfaces before the luxury home went onto the market for sale.
