By necessity, this includes working with the grout that binds them in place and finishes their presentation.
Old and missing grout can make your tiled area look really run down. This is particularly true for kitchens and bathrooms (including showers). We regrout both inside and outdoors.
At Stone and Tile Experts we only use the best specialised hand-held tools and machinery to remove the grout without damaging your stone or tiles. We then mix the grout, based on your colour choice, and this can be different from the original grout colour. In fact, changing the grout colour is an easy way to update the look and feel of your stone or tiles.
The grout we use has a strong uniform colour. It has been designed to reduce efflorescence and mould. This makes it suitable for both interior and exterior stone and tiles.
How often you need to regrout your stone or tiles depends on various factors. As a general rule high traffic areas -such as showers – need to be replaced more often. If you notice that your grout is cracked, flaky or moudly it is a sign that you need to get it replaced.
